WRITER
Like I wrote in the “about” section, I once had grand ambitions to be a writer (maybe I still do). I’ve written op-ed pieces for Talkhouse, Magnet, and OPB Portland (NPR). Jerad Walker (OPB Portland) read my long-winded touring novella called, “Don’t Look Down,” and thought it would be a good idea to let me write some think pieces for the online edition. Those were some of the most inspiring and best works I’ve done in my life — it opened up a creative spirit in me that I didn’t know existed. Thanks Jerad! I eventually tried to do the interviewer, podcast thing with OPB, but it didn’t take. Onwards — I guess Substack it is.
